Public-beta service

AlignDiff is an early browser-local code-comparison product. Features, supported languages, output, availability, and these terms may change. Structural matching is an aid, not a guarantee of correctness.

Your code and permission to use it

You retain all rights in source code you compare. AlignDiff does not claim ownership of it. You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to process the files and that your use complies with applicable agreements and laws.

Review important results

Do not rely on AlignDiff as the sole basis for security, legal, financial, production-release, or other high-impact decisions. Review important changes yourself and use appropriate tests and professional review.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to interfere with its operation, probe other users or infrastructure, distribute malware, violate intellectual-property rights, or perform unlawful activity.

AlignDiff software and brand

The AlignDiff name, presentation, and original software are proprietary unless a file or component expressly states otherwise. Using the public website for its intended comparison functionality does not grant a licence to copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative products from AlignDiff's original source code. Third-party components remain governed by their own licences.

No warranty

The public beta is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AlignDiff is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the public beta.
